Seventeen candidates, including sitting Congress MP from Mandi Pratibha Singh, today filed their nomination papers for the four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh.
With this, the total number of nominations, including covering candidates, has risen to 29.
Pratibha Singh of Congress, Ram Swaroop Sharma of BJP, Lala Ram of BSP and Het Singh, covering candidate of BSP, filed their nominations from Mandi, an Election Commission official said here today.

Chander Kumar of Congress, Rajan Sushant (AAP), Dhani Ram (IND) and Baldev Raj Sood of Himachal Swabhiman Party filed their nomination papers from Kangra Lok Sabha seat while Virender Kashyap of BJP and his covering candidate Suresh Kumar and Jagat Ram of CPI(M) filed their nominations from Shimla Parliamentary constituency, he said.
Kamal Kanta Batra (AAP), mother of Kargil Martyr Vikram Batra, Aashish Kumar and Ami Chand (both Independents) Shiv Dutt (Shiv Sena), Rakesh Kumar (BSP) and his covering candidate Virender filed their nominations from Hamirpur, the official said.
