18-year old youth injured in firing in LoC hamlet in Poonch

An 18-year old youth today suffered a bullet wound at a hamlet along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, the police said.

However, a police officer said there was no ceasefire violation today.

Mohmmad Yasir, who was hospitalised, was hit by a bullet at his home in the Mankote belt near the LoC.

The officer said the police is investigating the firing.
