The Uttar Pradesh government today tabled two bills in the state Assembly to replace ordinances bringing cow slaughter, human trafficking, money laundering and illicit arms under the ambit of Goonda act and Gangsters act.
The UP Control of Goonda (amendment) Bill, 2015 and UP Gangsters and Anti Social Activities (amendment) Bill 2015 were tabled in the Assembly by Minister for Parliamentary affairs Azam Khan.
The Anti Social Activities (amendment) bill 2015 also covers activities relating to counterfeit currency, manufacturing and sale of spurious medicines, making of illicit arms under its ambit.
