2 children drown in canal in UP

Two children today drowned in a canal in Majhigava village in Harchandpur area here, police said.

The incident took place when 7-year-old Prince and 2- year-old Divya slipped into Sharda canal while playing on its bank, they said.

Their bodies were later fished out from the canal by the police with the help of locals.
