2 children drowned

Two children were drowned

today in a pond under Shivnarayanpur police station area in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, a police officer said.

Two kids, identified as Altaf Ansari (12) and Gufran Ansari (15) met watery grave after they fell in deep water of a pond while taking bath, Shivnarayanpur police station in-charge Santosh Kumar said.

The bodies were fished out and sent for post-mortem at a government hospital, he said.
