"The Ghaziabad Development Authority, municipal corporation, Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation, Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad and all civic body heads have been instructed to depute their officials in their respective areas to check burning of garbage and stubble," District Magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey told PTI.

In case of burning, flames must be doused immediately and the action must be initiated against the guilty persons or institutions/establishments, the official added.
