2 drug peddlers held, heroin worth Rs 40 lakh seized

Two drug peddlers were arrested and 400 gm heroin worth Rs 40 lakh in black market was recovered from their possession, police said here today.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Shambhu Nath (35) and Bhura Nath (32) from near Dhaula Kuan Metro Station yesterday, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said.

The duo, residents of Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, used to supply drugs in Delhi and Haryana after procuring it from MP and Rajasthan, he said.
