2 electrocuted in Madurai

Two persons were electrocuted when they came into contact with live electric wire while dismantling a shamiana at Anaiyur here today.

Police said Ayyavu and Kumar were engaged in removing the shamina put up for a domestic function when a steel pole came into contact with a live wire, killing them on the spot.
