2 killed as two motorcycles collide in J-K

Two persons were killed and as many injured as two motorcycles collided head-on in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said today.

The incident occurred on Bishna Road in Bari Brahmana area around 9.30 pm yesterday, a police official said.

Four people were injured in the accident and they were rushed to a hospital, where Balvir Singh (21) and Sukhjeet Singh (21) were declared brought dead, the official said.

The two injured -- Raman Kumar and Sunny Kumar were shifted to Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu for specialised treatment, he said.

A case has been registered in connection with the incident.
