2 persons arrested with cannabis in Samba

Two persons have been arrested with over one kg of cannabis in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said today.

Following a tip-off, two persons were intercepted at Vijaypur yesterday and 1 kg, 375 grams of cannabis was seized from them, a police officer said.

Both of them, Bhola Shah and Hari Lal from Bitiyan district in Bihar, were arrested, he said.

A case has been registered and investigation is on, the police officer said.
