2 shot dead

a driver were shot dead by unidentified miscreants near Jhabri village, three km from Naxal-affected Chowka police station area, in Seraikela-Kharswan district, police today said.

Vijay, a truck driver, and Bhudeshwar were carrying iron rods of a steel company in Jamshedpur when the gang intercepted the vehicle and shot them dead,police said.

Prima facie, police said, the incident appeared to be a case of road robbery.

Police have recovered the bodies.
