2 students on way to appear in exam killed in road accident

Two students were killed when their bike rammed into a stationary lorry near a village in Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district, police said today.

The victims were going from Machilipatnam to Vijayawada to appear in an engineering examination when their bike hit the lorry near Veerailunka village on National Highway No. 65 at around midnight yesterday, sub-inspector, Kuchipudi police station, G Anil said.

The deceased were identified as M Rajdeep (18) and O Nithin (22), he said.

The bodies were shifted to Machilipatnam's government hospital for postmortem, he added.
