2 women die in lightning strike in J-K's Poonch

Two women were killed and another two were injured when lightning struck them a high-altitude area in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, police said on Friday.

Lightning struck a grass house (doke) in a high-altitude pastureland at Adhie in Mandhi tehsil on Thursday evening, they said.

In the incident, two women, Syeda Bani and Tanvi Bano, died and two others were injured, police said.

The bodies have been handed over to the family after post-mortem.
