2 women killed, 3 injured in auto-lorry collision

: Two women were killed and three others injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a lorry on the Ooty-Pykara Road, some 11 km from here today.

The five persons, three women and two men, were coming to the town to attend a farewell party of a senior AIR official, when the mishap occured at Six Miles on the highway, police said.

The injured have been hospitalised, they said.
