24-year-old arrested for raping minor

A 24-year-old man was arrested today on charges of raping a minor girl on August 24, police said.

SHO Sadar Subhash Bath said accused Sukhwinder Kumar, a resident of Bhaura village, was arrested for raping a 14-year-old girl.

"The arrest was made following a complaint by the victim's mother. Kumar allegedly raped the girl in a garage on August 24 and once earlier too, he said, adding Kumar lived in the victim's neighbourhood.
