A 25-year-old man was brutally killed by three unidentified persons, apparently to rob him of his belongings, in the wee hours here today, police said.
Kolsewadi police have registered a case of murder.
Vinod Keshav Surve, the victim, was returning home from work around 2.30 am when three men caught hold of him in the Thane East area and banged his head on a wall, as per an eye witness, police said.
Further probe is on.
