Three persons were arrested while illegally transporting liquor worth Rs 35 lakh in Barmer district today.
Acting on a tip-off, a truck coming from Sindhari was stopped at a check-post under Rageshwari police station area, police said.
As many as 765 cartons of different brands of whiskey and 210 cartons of premium beer were seized, along with the truck.

A special drive is being conducted to stop bootlegging, Barmer Superintendent of Police Gagandeep Singla said.
The arrested were identified as Magaram Jat, the driver of the truck, and Hanumanram Jat and Kishor Singh Jat, who were escorting the truck in a jeep.
