Three people were arrested along with 22 pieces of precious sapphire stones in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district today, police said.
The arrest was made after a police team intercepted the accused at a check point here, SHO Rajouri Tahir Khan said.
They have been identified as Mohd Aslam, Noor Alam and Mohd Googra- all belonging to Kathua district, he said.
The 22 pieces of Sapphires have been seized from them, he said, adding that a case was registered in Rajouri Police Station and further investigation is on.
