3 children killed, 24 people injured in Nepal accident

At least three children were killed and 24 other people injured when a passenger bus skidded off the road and fell some 150 meters down a hill in western Nepal today.

Two of the deceased were identified as two minors while identification of another girl killed in the mishap is yet to be known after the overloaded bus crashed while trying to skip a pothole in the road, according to police.

Two dozen people were injured in the incident. The condition of five of them is said to be critical.
