3 die in truck-motorcycle collision in Kanpur

Three persons were today killed when a truck collided head-on with a motorcycle in Bidhnu area of the city, police said.

Ravi Kumar (25) and Rohit (27), residents of Naubasta area, were killed in the accident when a motorcycle they were riding collided with the truck, Rural SP Surendra Tiwari said.

Truck driver Gorelal (38), who was severely injured in the accident, was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The bodies have been sent for post mortem and a probe was on in the matter, Tiwari said.
