Three members of an inter-state burglary gang involved in 32 criminal cases in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have been arrested from Seelampur area of East Delhi, police said today.
The accused -- Shahnawaj, Irshad and Shakir -- used to roam around various areas to select their target in a Honda City car sporting an advocate sticker to deflect police, said Ajit Kumar Singla, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-east).
They were arrested from G T Road in Seelampur yesterday following a tip-off.

The gang had bought the car 7-8 years ago. They purchased the advocate sticker from Dwarka court complex where they used to visit frequently in connection with various cases.
The gang members were wanted by UP Police and a reward of Rs 5,000 was announced on information leading to their arrest.
A semi-automatic pistol with five live cartridges and two knives were recovered from them, the police officer said.
Eighteen cases have been solved with the arrest of the trio, Singla claimed.
