35 injured in bus accident

Thirty five persons, most of them students, were injured when a bus from Vadugapatti to Dindigul carrying 50 passengers overturned at Thennampatti near here today, police said.

A palm tree at the road side prevented the bus from rolling down further, polcie said.

The injured had been rushed to Government Hospital here, polcie said.
