4 booked for sodomising Class V student

Three members of a school management committee and an employee have been booked for allegedly sodomising a Class V student here, police said today.

According to Circle Officer of police Tejbir Singh, the incident took place around two months ago and a case was registered under IPC sections 377 (unnatural sex) and 120b (criminal conspiracy) and relevant sections of the POCSO Act yesterday based on a complaint by the student's father.

The accused school management committee members and employee are absconding, the police officer said.
