4 children, 1 adult die in Denmark fire

Danish police say four children and an adult have died in a fire which devastated a villa in southern Denmark.

Soeren Ravn-Nielsen of the South Zealand and Lolland- Falster Police says another person has been hospitalized with burn wounds but was not in a life-threatening condition.

Ravn-Nielsen said today the cause of the Friday evening blaze in Nakskov, 155 kilometers (96 miles) south of Copenhagen, was not immediately established but foul play was not suspected.

Details of the victims were not immediately released.
