Acting of a tip off, a joint team of police and Rashtriya Rifles searched the house of Mehraj-u-din Sheikh at Khasipora village in Pattan on July 30 and recovered 110 rounds of AK 47 and 47 rounds of Pika, they said.
Investigations revealed that the ammunition was dumped by former militant Nazir Ahmad Khatana alias Altaf and his three aides Abdul Majeed Malla, Mohammad Saleem Mir and Sona Ullah Wani at Sheikh's house to frame him in a fake case, police said, adding that the four have been arrested.
