4 killed in Pak blast

Four persons were killed in a blast in an arms market in the lawless North Waziristan tribal region of northwest Pakistan today.

The blast was caused by a fire that erupted in the market in Mirali town, officials of the local political administration were quoted as saying by state-run Radio Pakistan.

Four persons were killed instantly by the explosion, the radio report said.

The fire was later extinguished.
