Four Maoists were
arrested and arms and ammunition seized following a brief encounter at Dari jungle in Khunti district, a senior police officer today said.
Based on the information, security personnel comprising COBRA and District Armed Police raided a training camp in Gulsan and Dari hills, when the ultras fired on them, forcing the security personnel to retaliate last evening, Superintendent of Police, Anish Gupta said.

Following a brief encounter, Gupta said, four Maoists were caught on the spot while two managed to escape.
A .303 rifle, one regular rifle, one country-made gun, 68 live cartridge including two AK-47 rifle ammunition were recovered from them, he said.
The arrested Maoists were identified as Mangal Singh Munda, Bhuta Singh Munda, Kora Munda and Mangra Munda while Chaura Munda and Chaika Munda managed to escape.
