Four minors, including two siblings, were injured after being hit by a speeding vehicle in Dhusad village of Pipraich area in the district, police said today.
The accused Ramesh Mishra, a resident of Tinkonia village was on his way to Dhusad in his car yesterday when he lost control over the wheel and hit the children, who were crossing the road.
Munna (10), Ashish Nishad (7), Beauty (3), and Munnu (5) were injured and have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
Their condition is reported to be out of danger, police said.
Enraged over the incident, the villagers damaged the vehicle. Police has registered a case against the accused and further investigations are on.
