5 killed, 36 injured as dust storm hits Karachi

At least five persons were killed and 36 others injured in after strong winds and dust storm hit Pakistan's biggest city, officials said Monday.

The blustery winds have uprooted and trees in different parts of the city, causing traffic blockages.

Rescue officials and police confirmed the death of five persons and injuries to dozens in different parts of as the forecast rains and more dust storms and gutsy winds for the next 48 hours.
