5 killed as truck runs into jeep

: Five persons were killed as a truck hit the jeep they were travelling in at Kulathupuzha in the district today, police said.

Those who klled included the driver of the jeep, which was operating as taxi along Kulathupuzha-Thenmala route.

Three injured had been admitted to a nearby hospital.

The truck, laden with fish, was coming from Tamil Nadu.
