Five labourers have been
killed when a truck in which they were travelling in hit a wall in Nonhara area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the truck rammed a wall, which was constructed to prevent traffic on a culvert, they said.
The victims were travelling to Allahabad, police said.
"The deceased have been identified as Bahli Devi (65), Pind Kumar (45), Radhika Devi (40) and Chapkeni Devi (36)," an officer said.
Vimla Devi (50) died during treatment this morning, he said.
A probe into the incident is underway, police added.
