A five-member All India Institute of Medical Sciences branch selection committee today visited the site of the Institute of Road Transport Medical College at Perundurai to examine the area.
The team was led by Dr Dhaitri Pande.
The college is run by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporations.
During its four-day visit to the state,the team would also visit Tiruchirapalli, Madurai, Pudukottai and Chengalpattu and a detailed report would be presented to the Health Ministry within next few days, Dr Pande said.
