A 55-year-old man was today beaten to death allegedly by two persons over a dispute in Maharajganj area here, a senior officer said.
Sahabdeen was beaten by Maiku Pasi and his son, Ramachal, with lathis following an altercation in the morning in Tirsoi village, Superintendent of Police N Kolanchi said.
The victim died on the spot and his body has been sent for post mortem, he added.
A case had been lodged against the accused, Kolanchi said adding that was detained while son is still at large.
