6 killed, 19 injured in explosion in south China

Six persons were killed and 19 others injured in an explosion reportedly caused by a cooking gas cylinder in Ningming County in south China, local authorities said.

The accident took place last night at a food stall near a supermarket in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The injured have been hospitalised and two of them are in critical conditions, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
