Seven members of a family, including three women, were today killed when their vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down into a river in hilly Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said.
The car was coming to Rajouri from Jammu when its driver lost control in the Narian area at round 5.00 PM, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, Yougal Manhas told PTI.
He said the police rushed to the scene of the accident and retrieved all the seven bodies from the river.
Mehmood Ahmad was travelling along with his family in the vehicle, the SSP said, adding that the deceased included three women members.
