71st Infantry day celebrated at MRC

The 71st Infantry Day was celebrated today at Wellington Military Station.

Wreaths were laid at the war memorial of the Madras Regimental Centre (MRC), in nearby Nilgiris district to honour those who made supreme sacrifice for the nation.

Brigadier (Retired) Ajit Singh and Brigadier S K Sangwan, Commandant, MRC, serving and retired senior Infantry officers and soldiers were present during the ceremony, an official release said here.
