726 kg ganja worth Rs 75 lakh seized; 10 persons arrested

Police seized 726 kg of ganja worth Rs 75 lakh from a truck near the Barkoni toll plaza in Bihar's Purnea district, Superintendent of Police, Nishant Kumar Tiwary said today.

On a tip-off, the police stopped the truck yesterday night and seized the ganja, Tiwary said.

Police also arrested 10 persons including the driver of the truck carrying the ganja, the SP added.
