73 ASIs promoted in J-K

The Jammu and Kashmir Police today promoted 73 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Sub-Inspectors.

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, Rajesh Kumar has issued formal promotion orders in favour of 73 ASIs promoting them to the rank of SIs, an official spokesman said here.

The IGP said such promotions have induced better job performances among the police officials.
