8-yr-old girl raped

An eight-year-old girl was raped

by a 32-year-old man in a village here.

The girl was playing outside her house in Gaduri village in Nidhauli Kala area here yesterday afternoon when the accused took her to a secluded spot promising her biscuits and raped her there, police said today.

The locals who rushed to the spot hearing the girl's cries caught hold of the culprit and handed him over to the police, they said.

The victim has been sent for medical examination and a case has been registered, they added.
