Five more children have been reunited with their families by the Delhi Police which has so far rehabilitated 89 minors countrywide under the 'Operation Milap'.

The programme, launched by Crime Branch's Anti-Human Trafficking Unit on December 18, aims at restoring kids living at shelter homes to their parents.

"Five children aged between 11 and 16 years were united recently with their respective families in Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi," said Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav.

To restore children with their families, officers check each and every child in children's shelter homes, railway stations and other places and make all efforts to get clues about their parents so that they could be reunited with their families, police said.
