'A Quiet Place' writers to develop 'Haunt'

A writing duo of "A Quiet Place" has been tapped to develop another horror-thriller "Haunt".

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods will also direct the film, which will be produced by Sierra/Affinity, reported Deadline.

The plot follows: On Halloween, a group of friends encounter an "extreme" haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realisation that some nightmares are real.

Production on "Haunt" is expected to begin in the fall.
