Accused kills self in police lock-up

A 20-year-old youth, who was arrested with country made liquor, allegedly committed suicide in the lock-up of Narkhi police station today, a senior officer said here.

Pawan Kumar, who was arrested with country-made liquor last night, took the extreme step inside police lock up this morning, Circle Officer Rajesh Chaudhary said.

The body has been sent for post mortem, Chaudhary said adding that investigations are on to ascertain the reason behind the suicide.
