Press Trust of India Thiruvananthapuram
Social activist and lawyer K K Saratchandra Bose today set out on an all-India campaign to create awareness on the need to eradicate caste discrimination in all spheres of the society.

The 40-day 'Bharata Yatra' led by 62-year-old Bose was flagged off here today by Congress leader and former MP N Peethambara Kurup.

Along with a team of 33 volunteers, he will be addressing people across the states before reaching Delhi on July 18, Bose said before setting out on the campaign.

He will be distributing copies of a book he authored last year on the subject.

Bose, associated with various social organisations in Kerala, has been practising law in the Gulf for the last 30 years and is a member of the International Bar Association.
