In compliance with the directives of the Election Commission, Arunachal Pradesh has affected reshuffle of a few administrative officers as District Election Officers (DEOs) cum Deputy Commissioners.
According to an order issued by state chief secretary Ramesh Negi yesterday, Ashok Kumar has been made new DC of Papum Pare district, while Kurung Kumey Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar Sahu has been transferred to West Siang, official sources said today.
Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Secretary B M Mishra and State Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Project Director Nidhi Srivastava have been transferred as Lohit and East Siang districts Deputy Commissioner respectively.

Further West Siang DC Pige Ligu has been posted as Kurung Kumey Deputy Commissioner, sources said.
Meanwhile, Papum Pare DC Tai Kaye, Lohit DC Rajiv Takuk and East Siang DC Opak Gao have been directed to report to the office of the chief secretary for further posting, the sources said.
