An advocate was today allegedly beaten to death by his distant relatives over old dispute at Samdhipur village here, while two women of his family were injured when they tried to rescue him.
Jitendra Yadav, an advocate in a Sessions Court, was allegedly beaten to death by his distant relatives over an old dispute, Superintendent of Police Raju Babu Singh said.
Two women of Yadav's family were also injured when they attempted to rescue the victim, he said.
All the injured have been admitted to the hospital where their condition was stated to be serious, the SP said, adding three persons have been detained and was being interrogated in this connection.
