Agri market committee official held taking Rs 30,000 bribe

A secretary of Agriculture Market Committee in Karimnagar district of Telangana was today trapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 30,000.

ACB officials caught S Krishnayya, red-handed when he allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here.

The accused officer has been detained and the case is being investigated.
