Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today directed the officials concerned for ensuring quality and timely completion of development works in Agra city.
Reviewing the works of Agra development authorities, the chief minister said that that the works proposed for Tajagnj area in Agra and its vicinity worth around Rs 136 crores should be started promptly for developing world-class tourism projects for which the permission of the Supreme Court should also be obtained.
He also directed to complete the proposed Bulandshahar to Agra water pipeline project with the financial assistance of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as per the deadline.

Reviewing the six-lane Agra Inner Ring Road, the chief minister said that to improve the city's transport system, the road would be built soon through Private Partnership (PPP) mode at the cost of about Rs 850 crore.
Meanwhile, Yadav also reviewed the development works in Kanpur and directed the officials concerned for completing the road on Ganga Barrage in three months.
