Akhilesh requests approval for rail overbridges

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today wrote to Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu requesting his approval for construction of rail overbridges in the state.

Yadav, in a letter to the Railway Minister, apprised him of the ongoing construction work for several ROB projects.

He asked the Union Minister to approve proposals for nine more railway overbridges, a Uttar Pradesh government spokesman said.

The nine rail overbridges include four under Northern Railway in Bareilly, Bijnor, Unnao and Faizabad; four under North-Central Railway in Etawah, Allahabad and two in Mathura and one under East-Central Railway in Chandauli.
