The Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) Krishna district president and re-elected MLA Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said here today that the party would fulfill all its election promises immediately after attaining power.

He told reporters here on Thursday that the TDP government would waive all agricultural and DWACRA loans, as well as purchase paddy, besides other agricultural produce from farmers at a minimum support price, either through the civil supplies department or the marketing department to protect the interests of farmers.

He said that measures would be taken to supply power without any interruption to all agricultural activities in the state.

He said that he had requested the TDP chief to conduct his oath taking ceremony at Vijayawada to enable people from all parts of the residual state of Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra) to attend the ceremony.
