Alpha Cueists thrash Snookin Shooters

The Faisal Khan-led Alpha Cueists team secured a convincing 6-1 win over Snookin Shooters on the second day of the Bengal Snooker League here at the Saturday Club.

In first frame, both the teams sent their B Marquee players where Pushpender Singh of Alpha Cueists dominated Panduranga and defeated him 61-17.

In second frame, Faisal Khan clinched tight frame against Kamal Chawla 74-56.

Leading 2-nil, team Alpha Cueists turned up stronger and pocketed third frame of doubles pro-am 81-36 to enhance the lead 3-0.

However, they could not save the fourth frame of 6Reds doubles, but after that won the remaining three frames to close the match proceedings 6-1.
 

Meanwhile, City Knights succeeded to register first win after two consecutive losses when they defeated Green Warriors 4-3.

They also posted break of 97 points to close the match proceedings.
